The full-grown Micarta handle of the almost 37 centimetre long Smilodon is contoured and textured and offers space for a wide variety of hand positions: Whether at the end of the handle for maximum efficiency when chopping, or right up to the front, for maximum control and powerful pressure cuts such as when carving, the large thumb recess on the back of the blade provides support here. The handle is provided with a lanyard hole. The massive blade with a thickness of 6 milliemeters is provided with the characteristic iron wash finish and scores through the high flat ground with excellent cutting properties. Thus the Smilodon is an excellent choice as a massive but versatile outdoor knife. Supplied with Kydex sheath with belt adapter.
