The new version of the third generation of the Boker Leopard-Damascus pocketknife has a flipper and a thumbstud. Strenuous manual labor is needed to forge the tank's barrel steel combined with tool steel (chromium, manganese and vanadium alloy) and 1.3505 bearing steel into more than 300 layers of Damascus steel. The result is a Leopard Damascus blade with unmatched cutting properties and a hardness of 61 to 63 HRC. In each blade, the three different steel types are clearly visible. The handle of CNC-milled AlMgSi1 aluminum is hardcoat-anodized in gray, which creates an interesting contrast to the dark inlay of certified imported Grenadille.
