Helle knives are traditional Norwegian outdoor and bushcraft knives with a unique three-layer steel blade known for its sharpness and robustness, as well as distinctive wooden handles and a Scandi grind that provide a natural grip. The company, which has been manufacturing knives in Holmedal, Norway, since 1932, combines traditional craftsmanship with modern materials and designs, including robust full-tang and stick-tang constructions.

Named after the Didi Galgalu Desert in Northern Kenya
The Mândra was developed by Helle and Les Stroud.
The Utvaer features a strong, full tang construction, ample curly birch handle and blade of Sandvik 12C27 steel.
Helle knives are made of stainless 3-layers-steel (Rc 59). The core is made of stainless razor blade -steel and both outer coats are made of 18/8 high-grade steel. Both steels together provide the good attributes to Helle knives.
