Böker Plus The Dace

Agile, fast, and adaptable — with the Boker Plus The Dace, designer and passionate angler Joe Mangiafico, who was already responsible for the Canoe and The Brook models, has once again landed a special specimen on his hook. Inspired by the peaceful fish of the same name (dace), the American knife maker transferred its characteristic silhouette to this nimble pocket knife. The Dace's habitat is predominantly hard-bottomed EDC waters with a rich food supply of cardboard, rope, and packaging, with an occasional penchant for fine work on fish and meat. The ball-bearing-mounted drop point blade made of corrosion-resistant Nitro-V with excellent cutting properties develops the right bite when the flipper is activated, while the liner lock for locking is discreetly housed in the flattened handle made of gray 6061-T6 aluminum. Iridescent blue anodized elements such as the tip-up clip (r), the flat blade axis screw, and the handle screws give the pocket knife a special touch. The austere stonewash finish and the blade back with non-slip jimping and decorative false edge round off the look and performance when closed.
