From a blank sheet of paper to its first foray into the EDC world, Polish custom knife maker David Hás accompanied the Boker Plus Pollywog throughout its entire metamorphosis. Inspired by the fascination of nature, the designer from Cronos Knives lovingly recreated the fixed knife in the shape and composition of the tadpole of the same name. The drop point blade with a satin finish is reminiscent of the tail fin and, thanks to the excellent properties of the blade steel, maneuvers the neck knife unerringly through everyday use. Nitro-V is particularly characterized by its high cutting performance and low susceptibility to corrosion, making even minor cutting tasks in the great outdoors a breeze. Furthermore, jimping on the thumb rest and the sturdy full tang construction ensure maximum precision and control. The contoured G10 handle scales tie in seamlessly with this concept, offering added comfort with their ergonomic finger grooves. At the end of the handle is a hollow rivet, reminiscent of the eyes of a tadpole, which can be used as a lanyard hole. For stylish and secure transport, a custom-fit Kydex sheath with ball chain and a lanyard are included.
